RECLUSE SPIDER BITE RESPONSE TO HYPERBARIC

March, 1999, one morning I awakened with pain in my left instep and observed a bright red circle there. The pain and severity of the same area which by now was a blackened area and burned like a hot coal was touching it. Finally, the morning of October 18, 1999, I went to my doctors.
A biopsy was negative for cancer. During the frequent consultations that week, the consensus: the "ulceration" was a recurrence of Arizona Brown Recluse spider bite, which I had received about February of 1997. One of the Physicians suggested treatments in a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber as a probable successful curative therapy. Pacific Care would pay to have the foot amputated. Pacific Care would not pay for treatment to save the foot.
During my regular chiropractic visit that day, I mentioned to my friend, Dr. Reach about the recommended Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments and of Pacific Care's refusal to pay for them. Dr. Reach phoned his father and informed me that his father had a hyperbaric chamber, and that I could commence treatments that day. We could work some manner of payment arrangements later.
Treatments were administered twice a day, five days a week for some several weeks, during which the ulcerated area began to retreat.
I offer sincere thanks to yourself, Dr. Reach and to your father's "Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Of Arizona".
